My favourite piece of technology

My favourite gadget was bought by my grandfather when I was like ten years old, I've been using it since then in many different ways, but now it is half of what it was back then because I used to share it with my one of my sisters but now both of us have our own part of it.

It has two main parts but people don't use it without accessories that make its use more comfortable. It is commonly used everyday but architecture students don't use it longer than 4 hours a day.

I like it because it is the most comfortable piece of technology in my house and I like to use it whenever I get home.

I think my life would awful without it. because I really love this gadget and I wouldn't have how to rest everyday.

Why did I choose Architecture

When I was a child I wanted to be a painter, because I've always loved art! I also liked animals a lot so I wanted to be a vet. When I was around eight years old, my favorite movie was Jurassic Park so I really liked dinosaurs and wanted to be a paleontologist. Then, when I was a teenager I really wanted to be a doctor, but it was mainly because I wanted money and my family liked it.

Suddenly, architecture appeared in my life like a revelation and I really really liked it, actually, when I got the PSU results, I didn't think of other career, but my mom convinced me to also apply for laws and engineering in case architecture didn't work well. But it did and I get into university. 

If I say my experience has been great I would be lying, because it has been awesome! I am really happy with all the new things that I've been learning and the people I've been meeting. I think I made a really good decision. I love this career so far, even with the tiredness and all! I really would like to do this for the rest of my life. 

I think I would like to work in anything related to the career, but I think I speak for us all (architecture students) if I say I would love to work designing buildings and changing the world through them.

Autobiography

Francisca Ogrodnik Carranza was born and raised in Santiago, Chile and has lived there her whole life, but has moved at least 11 times to different places in Santiago. She went to two different schools, but the most meaningful was that one she went since second grade and until she finished school. Now she studies Architecture at Universidad de Chile.

She lives with her parents, her two sisters and her cat, Suki, in a apartment in Las Condes. Her grandparents, aunt and cousin live in the same condominium as her so she visits them almost every day.

Francisca loves to draw and to watch movies, her favorite director is Tim Burton. She also loves to spend time with her best friend, Pablo. Other of her hobbies are reading and listening to music. She doesn't have any specific preferences, her music taste goes from punk to pop music.
